BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Read the small print.
It changes the picture.
- Ask for the current supported task list and the conditions each task needs. A promotional demonstration is not a household acceptance test.
- Confirm installation, remote assistance, camera handling and the return route before treating the listing as an orderable appliance.
- Confirm the exact edition, current destination availability and delivered price with the seller. A listed product is not a live-stock guarantee.
LIVING WITH THE HARDWARE
What ownership involves.
- Assembly
- Installation and commissioning requirements are not established by the reviewed listing; request the current owner documentation.
- Computer & setup
- Confirm the required phone, account and home setup with SwitchBot. Do not assume it works as a standalone appliance.
- Connectivity
- Ask which functions need network access and whether any task uses remote human assistance.
- Development access
- A public owner programming interface was not verified in the reviewed product listing.
