THE WORKING ENVELOPE

256 x 256 x 256 mm

Published build volume. Check orientation, supports and machine-specific margins when preparing a part.

MATERIAL CONTEXT

Match the material to the job.

Bambu lists PLA, PETG, TPU and PVA as ideal. Its A1 specifications do not recommend ABS, ASA, PC, PA or fiber-reinforced polymers.

FROM FILE TO PART

The workflow
around the printer.

Prepare a model in Bambu Studio or a compatible slicer, check the material profile, then print. Allow room for the moving bed and any AMS lite.

Follow the manufacturer's handling, maintenance and ventilation instructions for the exact machine and material. A printer's build volume alone does not establish that it can make your part well.

ROBOT-BUILDING CONTEXT / SMALL PROTOTYPES

What it could make for your robot.

Our application assessment based on the linked specifications. These are candidate uses, not tested parts or certified load ratings.

Good starting jobs

  • Camera brackets, low-load enclosures and fit samples in supported materials.
  • Useful when a 256mm build dimension fits the design.

Check before printing

  • An open frame is a poor starting assumption for polymers requiring a controlled chamber.
  • Orient and test a bracket for its actual load; infill percentage is not a strength rating.

Budget beyond the machine

  • Filament, build sheets and nozzle wear.
  • AMS lite is optional; multicolor is not necessary for a functional bracket.
